1020 years service on the SS Shieldhall

The Southampton based ship silently cruised the Solent and Southampton Water to enable all pasengers to enjoy the classic yachts sailing during Classic Cowes Week.

Aboard were 48 present and past employees who amongst them ammassed a staggering 1020 years service to the company.  This underlines the fact that Goodwood Metalcraft is both a great place to work and that it has an unrivalled level of experience within its personnel.

The Shieldhall is a 1955 vintage Glasgow built vessel that, after many years service as a cargo ship was purchased by the SS Shieldhall Steam Packet Ltd, a charitable society, who refurbished her to how she is today.  www.ss-shieldhall.co.uk
